The Annual Meeting of the Central Dental Society was held at the University Club on the Campus of the University of Missouri- Columbia March 1, 2002.

The speaker was Dr. Samuel Low, who spoke on the successful management of the periodontal patient.

Especially interesting were his  comments on diagnosis and treatment planning, the phases of treatment, and his use of ultrasonics for both efficacy and efficiency.

Executive Director LeAnn Mertins greets the arriving guests.  The good turnout was pleased with Dr. Lowe's presentation.

The annual business meeting followed the presentation.  Trustee Bill Jolly presented a short feature on 'Policy Governance'.  He was aided by Ms. Vickie Wilbers from MDA.  A new slate of officers was elected and delegates and alternates were chosen to next years House of Delegates.
